Step 3: Authorize Adobe Digital Editions using your Adobe ID. In Adobe Digital Editions, go to the Help menu. Choose “Authorize Computer.”
Step 4: Open your file with Adobe Digital Editions. Once you’ve linked your Adobe Digital Editions with your Adobe ID, you should be able to access your eBook on any device which supports Adobe Digital Editions and is authorized with your ID. If your eBook does not open in Adobe Digital Editions upon download, please contact customer service

Whereas before you had to pay someone to physically connect (and repair!) wires for each component (a time-consuming and thus expensive prospect), now an error-proof, custom “PCB” is installed instead. Hobbyists and designers can now start their projects with a printed circuit board, rather than using it as a last step (and contracting it out to someone else, as was previously the norm). It not only makes a more professional-looking prototype, but also makes it easy to mass-produce.
