American Water Works Association (AWWA) is the leading organization of water management professionals in the United States.
James K. Edzwald, Ph.D., is Professor Emeritus at the University of Massachusetts where he was Professor of Civil and Environmental Engineering from 1984-2006. He is a former President of the Association of Environmental Engineering Professors and served on the Board of Trustees as Vice President. Dr. Edzwald was twice honored with teaching awards at the University of Massachusetts and in 1990 he received the College of Engineering Alumni Association Outstanding Faculty Award. Dr. Edzwald is a member of AAEE, ASCE, AWWA, AEESP, IWA, and the NEWWA.
