Delivery Services

Many ways of shipping your manuscript package are available; use the one that is most convenient and cost-effective for you.

If you choose to utilise the United States Postal Service (USPS), we recommend that you send your manuscript by registered mail, insure it, and request that a signed receipt from the receipient (McGraw-Hill) be sent to you. (You should insure your submission for whatever it would cost you to replace it, including, if necessary, the cost of such tasks as retyping the manuscript, redrawing figures, and reprinting photographs.) This method enables you to trace the package should it not reach us in a timely manner. Other USPS options include Express Mail, for overnight delivery from most areas, and Priority Mail, for delivery in a few days.

United Parcel Service (UPS) offers a variety of services ranging from overnight delivery to delivery within five working days.

Shipping your manuscript package via a next-day carrier such as FedEx or DHL is expensive and usually unnecessary, unless a deadline looms.

Whichever way you choose to send your package, properly packing, addressing and insuring it will almost certianly guarantee safe arrival.
